The quick lap of 1:19.028 minutes at an average speed of 101.949 mph took place in the late afternoon session on the 11-turn 2.238-mile road course.

After a successful inaugural season the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship announced that it will return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca next year for a May 1-3, 2015 race weekend.
