The 60th anniversary season of racing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was signaled by the roar of a stampede of Prancing Horses echoing through the rolling hills of the Monterey Peninsula on May 12-14.

What: The rolling hills of Monterey will be visited by a stable full of Prancing Horses from Ferrari, as Round 1 of the 2017 Ferrari Challenge North America kicks-off at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Kickstarting New Season with Back-to-back Events Beginning with Ferrari Challenge May 12-14


The 60th anniversary season of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca begins fast and furious with a one-two punch of thrilling events held in consecutive weekends.

First up is the Ferrari Challenge on May 12-14. In the 70th anniversary of the famed Italian automaker, the one-make series returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the powerful Prancing Horses ready to gallop across the 11-turn, 2.238-mile road course. The introduction of the turbocharged Ferrari 488 Challenge cars will up the ante as the faster machines compete in their North American debut.

Entering Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Please avoid the main entrance at Highway 68. All vehicles are instructed to enter Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca via South Boundary Road. Please ignore race traffic signs that deviate from directions below.

South Boundary Entrance will be open to all in-bound and out-bound traffic. Vehicles will be parked on a first come/first served basis, with some parking areas restricted to vehicles with parking passes only. AFTER 10:00 A.M. – PARKING IN DESIGNATED LOTS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

From Highway 1: Take the Highway 218 (Exit 403) Seaside/Del Rey Oaks exit, travel East for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on General Jim Moore Blvd Rd. Turn right on South Boundary Rd. and follow the signs to the Raceway.

From Highway 101: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Hwy 156 exit. Travel West on Hwy 156, which turns into Hwy 1. Take the Highway 218 exit East (Del Rey Oaks) and travel for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on General Jim Moore. Turn right on South Boundary Rd. and follow the signs to the raceway.
