Known around the world as one of the greatest racing facilities, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is run by SCRAMP (Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula) a 501(c)4 non-profit organization. Comprised of a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers, SCRAMP takes pride in providing a wonderful guest experience while simultaneously giving back to the local community.
SCRAMP volunteers work hard and long hours to support an event. Since 1957 SCRAMP has been supporting world class motorsport events on the Monterey Peninsula and we couldn’t do it without the efforts of thousands of individual and group volunteers from all over the world.
Whether you are looking for a team building event, want to network, learn soft skills such as working with the public, or you just want a way to give back to your community, we welcome you to volunteer your time and services.
Kathryn Hayworth plans to be a fixture in the lobby of the
Embassy Suites the next two weekends. She’ll be registering
racing teams Thursday through Sunday as they check in at the
Seaside hotel for the American Le Mans Monterey (May 11-12) and
Ferrari Racing Days (May 18-20), both of which will be held at
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
When the American Le Mans Series opens Mazda Raceway Laguna
Seca’s 2012 season this May, volunteers will arrive at the track
long before spectators fill the stands.
