Families can get a healthy, satisfying start to their Thanksgiving Day feasts by participating in the fifth annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot to benefit the Food Bank for Monterey County at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Hosted by the County of Monterey and Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, visitors who make a $10 cash or check donation can enjoy a run, jog or walk at their own pace on the 2.238-mile race circuit from 7 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.

Donation: $10 per person
Proceeds: 100% of proceeds benefit the Food Bank for Monterey County. For every $1 received, the Food Bank can purchase $5 worth of food for families in need.
