To commemorate the 60th anniversary of America’s sports car icon, the Chevrolet Corvette, and its featured marque honor at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has commissioned a series of five limited-edition t-shirt designs. Each shirt will bear the resemblance of one of the groundbreaking stylings that for years have pleased automobile enthusiasts.

The first design goes on pre-sale today and features the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window, which is a symbol of automotive symmetry that is associated with the time-honored marque. The second design, which goes on pre-sale January 30, will depict the revolutionary silhouette of the original Corvette, which debuted off the assembly line in 1953. The third in the series gets racy, as in the 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport that captivated race fans while frustrating its competitors.

Each shirt design will be available exclusively through the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca online souvenir store at MazdaRaceway.com and costs just $25, plus a nominal shipping and handling charge. For further questions, please call the souvenir store at 831-242-8245.

The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, August 16-18, is a cornerstone of the Monterey Classic Car Week. Motoring aficionados from around the world are able to see historic cars racing as they were originally intended, participate in car shows, auctions and the equally international Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

With Chevrolet Corvette as this year’s featured marque, thousands of Corvette enthusiasts are expected to descend on the Monterey Peninsula to celebrate the occasion and to immerse themselves in the racing, Corvette Corral, parade laps and all the associated celebrations.

Advance general admission tickets start at $50 and top out at a three-day ticket that includes a complimentary souvenir magazine for just $130. Hospitality options begin at $200 per person. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
