Driving Directions
From Highway 1: Take the Hwy 68 exit East. Travel approximately 10 miles to main entrance. Entrance will be on the left.
From Highway 101 South: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd. exit (Salinas). Travel West (right turn off freeway) on Sanborn Rd to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left turn on Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.
From Highway 101 North: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd exit (Salinas). Travel West on Sanborn Rd to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left hand turn on to Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.
Gates Entering Raceway:
Highway 68 Gate
South Boundry Road via Del Rey Oaks is the main access to the
race facility, with Watkins Gate entrance (off Reservation road)
as an additional access gate to the racetrack.
Gates Opening
Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
Highway 68 Gate opens at 7:00AM till midnight, all three
days.
South Boundary entrance opens at 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
Watkins gate entrance opens at 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM
Direction of Travel Entering Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca:
East and West bound traffic on Highway 68 will be routed thru the
maze at lower A road and directed to the proper colored parking
location. Vehicles with Blue and Green vehicle windshield passes
will be directed up A road. All others will be directed up B road
to the appropriate parking lots. After 10 AM, as parking
spaces fill, vehicles with valid parking passes may be directed
to other lots based on space availability.
Vehicles without parking passes will be directed to Purple
Parking lots 10 and 11.
MST buses will use A road for entrance and exit.
South Boundary Road:
Due to the Concorso traffic on Friday morning,
South Boundary will remain two-way inbound until 2 PM. and then
it will be changed for exit and become one way both lanes for
exit all the way to Rancho Saucito.
7 AM to 2 PM: South Boundary will be regular
traffic from General Jim Moore to Rancho Saucito, where Del Rey
Oaks PD will allow those cars wanting to turn onto Ragsdale to do
so. Those cars heading for the track will be notified via
signs that both traffic lanes from that point all the way to the
track are one-way both lanes until 2 PM.
Between 2 PM and 2:30: South. Boundary Rd.
at Rancho Saucito to the track will be closed for changing cones
to allow for exit in both lanes to Rancho Saucito. After 2
PM, all incoming traffic on South Boundary will be directed to
the main gate on Hwy. 68. DRO PD will place cones east of Rancho
Saucito to notify traffic to merge into one lane at Rancho
Saucito where cars can turn left onto Ragsdale and or proceed
straight in the right lane to GJM where they will be allowed to
turn right or left.
In bound traffic without parking passes will be directed to
Purple Parking 10 or 11 and those vehicles with proper/valid
parking passes will be directed to the appropriate colored lot
depending on availability.
Barloy Canyon Road (Watkins Gate):
Vehicles without a parking windshield pass will be directed to
Purple Parking lots 10 and 11. All others will be directed to the
designated colored parking areas based on space availability.
TRAFFIC EXITING PLAN:
Appropriate signs and cones will be placed to assure the safe
passage and exit direction for all vehicles. Traffic
directed to Highway 68 entrance will be limited to what the
traffic flow on Hwy. 68 will accommodate. B Road. will be
kept open for emergency vehicles traffic.
Friday:
EXIT ALL TRAFFIC via South Boundary to General Moore Blvd and
Watkins gate to Reservation road. After 7:00 PM traffic may
be directed to Highway 68 gate if commuter traffic allows.
Saturday, Sunday:
EXIT ALL TRAFFIC via South Boundary to General Moore Blvd and
Watkins gate to Reservation Road. After 6:00 PM traffic may
be directed to Highway 68 gate if commuter traffic allows.
Will-Call Hours at Embassy Suites:
Getting to Will-Call and Registration at Embassy Suites Seaside/Monterey:
North
San Francisco and San Jose:Take Hwy 101 South to Prunedale, then
Hwy 156 West to Hwy 1. Take Hwy 1 South to Seaside (Canyon Del
Rey/Hwy 218 exit). Turn left under the freeway, then follow Hwy
218 two blocks to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Sacramento: Take I-5 South to Hwy 152 West to Hwy 156 West. Take
Hwy 101 South to Prunedale, then Hwy 156 West to Hwy 1. Take Hwy
1 South to Seaside (Canyon Del Rey/Hwy 218 exit). Turn left under
the freeway, then follow Hwy 218 two blocks to the Embassy Suites
Hotel.
Central Valley
Fresno: Take Hwy 99 North to Hwy 152/33 West to 156 West. Take
Hwy 101 South to Prunedale, then Hwy 156 West to Hwy 1. Take Hwy
1 South to Seaside (Canyon Del Rey/Hwy 218 exit). Turn left under
the freeway, then follow Hwy 218 two blocks to the Embassy Suites
Hotel.
Bakersfield: Take I-5 to Hwy 46 West to Hwy 101 North to Salinas
(Monterey Peninsula exit). Follow signs to Hwy 68 West. Proceed
approximately four miles past the main track entrance to Hwy 218.
Turn right on Hwy 218 for approximately 3 miles to the Embassy
Suites Hotel.
South
Los Angeles: Take I-5 North to Hwy 46 West to Paso Robles. Take
Hwy 101 North to to Salinas (Monterey Peninsula exit). Follow
signs to Hwy 68 West. Proceed approximately four miles past the
main track entrance to Hwy 218. Turn right on Hwy 218 for
approximately 3 miles to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Santa Barbara: Take Hwy 101 North to Salinas (Monterey Peninsula
exit). Follow signs to Hwy 68 West. Proceed approximately four
miles past the main track entrance to Hwy 218. Turn right on Hwy
218 for approximately 3 miles to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
