Bud Moeller let us put a camera on his Barrichello F1 Clienti car while he was at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last week. This one is of Bud doing a shakedown lap after being rolled out. We wanted to show off just a tease and take you on a shakedown lap with our friend and regular Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion Participant Bud Moeller and his F2003 GA chassis #228 Formula 1 Clienti car which was originally driven by Rubens Barrichello. It was a rare privilege to ride along with Bud, who was having so much fun driving his newest F1 car.
The Pre-Reunion, presented by Jaguar is a relaxed environment where many of the participants in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion come together to test their cars or gain a little track time. It is held the weekend of August 13 and 14.
The paddock bristles with enthusiasm as the sounds of revving engines, on-track action and camaraderie for enjoying historic race cars up close come together. It’s also a time where final preparations are underway for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion held just days later.
