A name synonymous with racing, the Chevrolet Corvette will commemorate its 60th anniversary in style as the featured marque of this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, August 16-18. In celebration of the Corvette’s storied history, Chevrolet has assembled a collection of rare Corvettes from nearly every year to create a special exhibition for visitors to enjoy.
Among those on display in this Corvette-only exhibition will be the iconic No. 9 car, which graces the event’s poster, and famously raced in the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Joining in on the off-track fun at this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is three-time Formula 1 World Champion and racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart.
Stewart will be joined by current Corvette Racing star Tommy Milner as the two drivers share their tales from the track. Fans will be treated to untold stories from the grid as Stewart and Milner compare the racing world of old and new.
Following the discussion there will be a question and answer period where fans may interact with the drivers and ask questions.
The ground-breaking FIM eRoadRacing World Cup will launch its U.S. series at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on Sunday, July 21 as part of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix race weekend.

The Sports Car Club of America has announced the host sites of the next three SCCA® National Championship Runoffs®, including the first visit for amateur road racing’s top event to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in 2014. Daytona International Speedway, in 2015, and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in 2016, will also hold events over the next three years.
The return to the west coast and Monterey’s Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca comes 50 years after the inaugural event at Riverside in 1964. The event alternated between Riverside and Daytona for six years.
Comedian and car enthusiast Adam Carolla returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this year to compete in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, a cornerstone of the Monterey Peninsula’s Classic Car Week. Driving his 1988 Nissan 300ZX, Carolla will be featured in race group 6B.
