On August 13-15 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Edelbrock will be showcasing a collection of vehicles dedicated to over 72 years of American Performance. An “Evolution of Power” starts with Vic Edelbrock Sr.’s original 1932 Ford Roadster, the TLC show Rides ‘32 Roadster, the Hot Rod Magazine 1967 Chevy Camaro and the line of Edelbrock E-Force Supercharged vehicles. This timeless dedication to improving automotive performance will be showcased in the Power Alley in the Yamaha Marketplace.
The Webcor/Alto Velo Bicycle Racing Club will be hosting the Twilight Cycling ride at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on Wednesday, August 18 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This Twilight ride replaces the Twilight ride that was scheduled for August 10.
The fields are set for Sunday’s AMA Pro Road Racing National Guard SuperBike and Daytona SportBike races here at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. In National Guard SuperBike, Ben Bostrom, riding the Pat Clark Motorsports Yamaha, took his first pole of the 2010 season with a lap of 1:24367/95.497 MPH. Bostrom had posted the fastest time in the morning qualifying session but went slightly quicker in the afternoon.

The AMA Pro SuperSport riders put on quite a show today in the action packed 18 lap race here at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix event. Riding his LTD Racing Yamaha with an engine that hadn’t turned a lap until the warm-up lap, Huntley Nash endured a red flag race stoppage and relentless pressure from Top Gun rider Tyler O’Hara and went on to take his second career AMA Pro SuperSport win.
A sun-soaked Laguna Seca welcomed the MotoGP paddock to American soil today, where Jorge Lorenzo looked on good form to finish the opening session in second and his Fiat Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi made a solid start for sixth position. The Fiat Yamaha M1s are running in a special livery here to celebrate the forthcoming launch of the Fiat 500 car in the United States, which features the faces of 500 fans on both bikes and the riders’ leathers.
