In honor of National Military Appreciation Month (May) Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will be offering FREE general admission to all active military who attend the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix, powered by Mazda in uniform on Saturday May 3, 2014.
“It is a fitting tribute to the men, women and families who serve our country,” says Gill Campbell, CEO and general manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. “And for many of our veterans, it will be a kind of homecoming as our race circuit has long been a fabric of Fort Ord history where many service men and women were stationed.”
Thunder will be reverberating among the Monterey hillsides as two fan-favorite groups—historic Trans-Am cars from the pony war era of 1966-1972 and the powerful 1963-1974 Can-Am cars—compete at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion August 14-17, 2014.
Adrenaline junkies, novice cyclists and competitive riders alike will want to make note of the 2014 dates of the monthly Twilight Cycling rides, presented by Rabobank at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Twilight Cycling evenings are open to all ages and levels of cyclists. All riders are welcome to experience the thrill of pedaling on the 11-turn, 2.238-mile world famous race track that is normally reserved for motorcycles and race cars.
