The easiest way to obtain track time on Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is to join one of the many clubs that rent the track throughout the year. There are organizations for both cars and motorcycles that offer an affordable way to get on the track. Take a look through the track calendar to see what clubs are renting the track and when, then contact the respective club (by simply clicking on the club/organization name on the calendar) and ask about membership and specifications for going on track.

Demand to use Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is high and it’s unfortunately impossible for us to offer open track days. Throughout the year, however, a variety of clubs, enthusiast groups and schools rent the track and offers these programs to consumers. Do you offer gift certificates for track days?
The Skip Barber Racing School offers gifts certificates for the variety of racing schools it holds at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Please contact all other track renters directly to inquire about gift certificates.
Does the track offer tours?
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is located in a Monterey County park and throughout most of the year (except on major event weekends, when a ticket is required) the public is encouraged to come and visit the spectacular setting. Although there are no formal track tours available, you can explore the facility and enjoy some of the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from high atop The Corkscrew where, on a clear day, you can see Santa Cruz in the distance.
The sounds of motorcycles will again roar through the central California hillsides as the eni FIM Superbike World Championship returns to Monterey July 11-13, 2014 for its only U.S. appearance.
“When World Superbike returned to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this season we agreed to a three year contract,” says Gill Campbell, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca CEO/general manager. “We were very pleased with the first year and look forward to building upon its success.”
Monthly twilight rides allow cyclists to experience the excitement of pedaling Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, an 11-turn, 2.238-mile course. The ride is highlighted by the legendary Corkscrew turn that drops an equivalent of 5 1/2 stories. Rides generally run from 5:30–7:30 p.m. (5-7 p.m. in the winter months), and are open to all levels of cyclists. Helmets are required and the cost is $10 per rider.

This morning, before practice got underway for 500 cars entered in weekend racing at the Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion, a magical thing happened in the soft sunshine at the track, and it drove home—no pun intended—the reason this world-class race circuit exists.
Make no mistake about it.After three days of competition at the Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion, there were awards to be won, but they were not necessarily bestowed upon the actual winners in 16 different classes that took to the straights, curves, hairpin turns and challenging drops of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.In fact, Rolex Awards of Excellence were awarded in each race category to individual drivers who were determined by an independent panel to be “most deserving,” and the event’s highest “Spirit of Monterey” honor, which is coupled with the awarding of a specially engraved 18k stain
