If plunging down a five and a half story drop on two wheels sounds like a good time, then you will want to attend one of the monthly Twilight Cycling rides, presented by Rabobank at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
The family and enthusiast oriented Twilight Rides evenings are open to all levels of cyclists who are looking for a world-class challenge. No matter your ability, all riders can experience the thrill of being on the 11-turn, 2.238-mile world famous race track that is normally reserved for motorcycles and race cars.
Yamaha Factory Racing rider Jorge Lorenzo placed second on the podium at the Grand Prix of Australia to claim his second MotoGP World Championship title, becoming Spain’s first-ever double premier-class Grand Prix Champion.
Mazda Raceway’s popular monthly twilight cycling rides allow cyclists of all ages and skills to experience the excitement of pedaling the challenging 11-turn, 2.238-mile race track. The ride is highlighted by the legendary Corkscrew that drops an equivalent of 5 1/2 stories through a series of turns.
When: 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14
Sponsored by Rabobank, the cost is just $10 per rider. And please note that helmets are required.
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca wishes to warn race fans to be wary of ticket/parking counterfeits. You are advised to NOT purchase tickets/parking from sources you may not be familiar with, including those selling tickets/parking through Craigslist and eBay.
Unfortunately, counterfeit tickets/parking often look authentic enough that fans do not discover the ticket/parking is counterfeit until trying to enter the gate and are then sadly disappointed when the counterfeit ticket/parking is not honored and is confiscated.
