Bio: I worked in banking industry for 10 years, and taught an adult education class on Banking Careers. I then decided to take a break for 15 years and raise my family. In 2000 I returned to work in the ticket department at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Monthly twilight rides allow cyclists to experience the excitement of pedaling Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, an 11-turn, 2.238-mile course. The ride is highlighted by the legendary Corkscrew turn that drops an equivalent of 5 1/2 stories. Rides run from 5:30–7:30 p.m., and are open to all levels of cyclists. Helmets are required and the cost is $10 per rider.
Bio: After graduate school Derek worked with the City of Monterey’s Recreation and Community Services Department for eight years and following five years as Facilities Coordinator at the City of Monterey Sports Center he made the move to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
