Approximately 550 of the finest examples of automotive history, style, design and technology will fill the race paddock for the 17 race groups at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion August 19-21. Now in its 37th year at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the historic racing event is a cornerstone of the Monterey Classic Car Week.
Today, Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) announced the appointment of Brian Redman as Official Ambassador to Rennsport Reunion IV. In his new role Redman will serve as an advisor to PCNA’s organizing team in the months leading up to the October 14 to 16 event and represent the company vis-à-vis race fans and participants in all Rennsport related matters.
Two Monterey Bay icons, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and The Monterey County Herald, have entered into a first-time publishing partnership to produce the souvenir program for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. The 100-plus page, full-color program will serve as a comprehensive source for everything happening throughout the Monterey Peninsula when the world’s best motorcycle riders compete over the July 22-24 weekend.
Race fans can rest assured that all the thrills, spills and excitement of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix will continue at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca through at least the 2014 race season. No other road course in the U.S. challenges these world champion riders with such a dynamic, heart pounding combination of 11 turns, dramatic elevation changes of up to 300 feet and the plunging blind Corkscrew turn that drops an equivalent of ten stories.
